MYGALE will partner with RPPL for the new Formula 4 India championship starting in October 2023. Formula 4 India will run the new FIA homologated MYGALE F4 Gen 2 car powered by the ALPINE 1.3 turbocharged engine, which is currently used with success by F4 France.
RPPL headed by M. Akhilesh Reddy will become the MYGALE India distributor, starting with Formula 4 but including all current and future MYGALE racing cars.
In 2023, India will become the largest country in the world with 1.5 billion people. Grassroots motorsport is booming. F4 India with RPPL and FMSCI (Indian Federation) will help to promote young Indian drivers to Formula 1.
F4 India will have 5 rounds and will comprise of 15 races in total. Drivers will be eligible for FIA super license points.
